Stand Alone Book You Love

I just can’t gush enough about this book.  It hooked me from the start, and it’s a wild thrill ride of an experience.  Although I am partial to Claire North novels, this one is – without a doubt – my absolute favorite (so far)!  My review for this novel can be found here.

Dystopian Book You Love

Obviously, as far as series go, nothing even comes close to “The Hunger Games” series by Suzanne Collins. However, they asked for a book! Single!

So, I went with “Rook” by Sharon Cameron. I really enjoyed reading this book.  The premise of technology being banned combined with interesting characters puts this high up on my list of favorites.  My review for “Rook” is here, if you’re interested.

A Book You Love That No One Else Talks About

Oh, Markux Zusak, you are my favorite! ♥♥♥ I will always love this book, no matter how few people read it.  I’ve lent it out more times now than I can count (although now that it’s personalized by Zusak himself, it’s displayed proudly on my bookshelves!). Everyone, go read this now.  Just go.  I’ll wait.  (Review here.)

Favorite Book Couple

Aaaaaaabsolutely, without a doubt, Linh Cinder and Prince Kai from “The Lunar Chronicles” by Marissa Meyer.  The most realistic and still entertaining of all the book romances I’ve read so far.  I love them.

Book That Other People Love But You Haven’t Gotten Around To Reading

I know! I know! I’m probably one of the only fantasy readers who has not cracked these books open. But, I do have a great excuse! Well… this is at least a trilogy, perhaps a series – and even though book 2 has been out for a few years now, book 3 has not even been formally announced as of yet, let alone has a sell date.  I am saving this one so that I can read it, and love it, all at once.

A Book With Red On The Cover

I cannot wait until book 2 – “Our Dark Duet” comes out later this year!

A Book With Pink On The Cover

Book 1 in a very entertaining YA fantasy series.  I don’t have pink books.. so this was an easy choice! Trilogy review here.

You Were Given A Box Of Chocolate. Which Fictional Boyfriend Would Have Given Them To You?

The only book boyfriend I have -Rhysand, High Lord of the Night Court, from “A Court of Thorns and Roses” and “A Court of Mist and Fury” by Sarah J. Maas.  I doubt he’d give me chocolate, based on his character.. but it asked for a book boyfriend, and he’s my one and only

You Are Single On Valentine’s Day.  What Book Would You Read?  What T.V. Show Would You Watch? What Movie Would You Watch?

I don’t typically do anything themed for holidays. But, I will post which of these three I will likely be doing that day!

Book

I’m currently reading “King’s Cage” by Victoria Aveyard, and I may or may not be finished by Valentine’s Day.

T.V. Show

With a busy life, I am so backed up on television I’ve been told that I “need to see”, that I am embarrassed.  I have been slowly making my way though “Black Mirror”, though. So, maybe I’ll be doing that this V-Day!

Movie

I read the book, but have yet to see the film  Maybe by this Valentine’s Day, I’ll remedy that! (My book review for this is right here.)

You Are In A Book Store. All Of The Sudden You Get Shot With An Arrow By Cupid. What New Release Will You Love?

This is not quite on the bookshelves now, but in a little over a month, it will be. And I just cannot wait!!!!
